  2. To make this dairy-free, use a dairy-free caramel, dairy-free heavy cream like So Delicious brand, and dairy-free chips.

SPECIAL NOTE

Please know that every gluten free flour blend has a different starch to grain ratio. If you use a blend I didn’t test, my rule of thumb is to add more flour if your dough or batter is wet and add more liquid if the dough or batter is too dry!

  1. I am dairy free & wanted to know if you though canned coconut milk or dairy free cream by Silk could work? Thank you

    1. Hi Elise, I haven’t used canned coconut milk in this exact recipe, but I have in another no-churn ice cream recipe. You need to use coconut cream and make sure the can is VERY cold in order for it to whip. I haven’t used the silk cream yet.

    1. Hi Carole, I am going to test this out with coconut milk, but it wouldn’t be caramel since the caramel I am using has dairy. Stay tuned and I will create something dairy free and delicious. Do you have any requests? I am thinking fresh fruit of some sort….
